The Hydra Hydraulic Arm Trainer uses fluid resistance rather than springs or elastic, which means the load stays smooth and consistent through the whole range instead of spiking at the ends. Push and pull against it and the resistance meets you evenly, which is considerably easier on the joints than a band that turns brutal at full stretch.

It works the chest, shoulders, arms, and back depending on how you hold it, so one device covers most of an upper-body session.
