Meteor Weighted Jump Rope for Cardio with Adjustable Load
The Meteor Weighted Jump Rope adds load where a standard rope has none. The extra mass in the handles and cable means your shoulders, forearms, and grip work alongside the calves and lungs, turning an ordinary cardio tool into something much closer to conditioning with resistance attached to it.
Three weights let you pick the job you are doing. At 2.8 lbs the rope stays fast enough for speed work and double-unders while giving noticeably more feedback than a plain cable. At 3.8 lbs the arms start doing real work across a round. At 4.8 lbs it becomes a strength-endurance tool in its own right, and a few honest minutes of it is genuinely plenty for most people to start with.
The heavier the rope, the more it punishes sloppy form, so start at the lightest weight and earn your way up rather than buying the heaviest and hoping for the best. Use it on wood, rubber matting, or another surface with some give rather than rough concrete, wear supportive shoes, and let your calves and shoulders adapt over a couple of weeks. Check the handles and the cable connection regularly for wear, and give yourself room to swing without catching a lamp, a ceiling, or anyone standing nearby.
